whether it is education, health care, the energy movement, the environment, investing in our nation's infrastructure, protecting our children from guns and other harmful weapons, civil rights and civil liberties, we have a lot of work to do and we have got to stop the my way or the highway politics. that i think is a big part of what the tea party has dragged us backwards, allowing the tail to wag the dog, allowing the agenda to be controlled more by the power people want to hold on to win washington rather isn't doing for right thing. i really hope this book will motivate real people, regular people to go down to your elected official town hall meeting, spend a few minutes after the meeting is over talking with an elected official at the podium, giving them a sense of what is important to you, get involved in an organization that focuses on an issue that really matters but most importantly communicate to the people that represent you that you want the gridlock to stop. i can say that as the chair of the dnc. i support my party's agenda and i represent the progressive congressional di
